"I'm using your converter with my PlayStation. It's a PlayStation 1 (the original one). It has a special cable that connects to the PS and the other end is three-headed -- RCA connectors for L and R audio, and a yellow RCA for composite video. My set-up through my Dolby Digital amp is finicky about S-video versus composite -- it really likes one or the other and doesn't work well in a hybrid environment. So I bought those adapters so I can S-Video everything into the amp (VCR, PS1, etc.). I just plugged the S-Video adapter into the amp and then plugged the composite video from the PS into the adapter."
