MALE RCA to FEMALE S-VIDEO Converter
Some users prefer this model, especially if they plan to plug and unplug
the cable frequently, as when changing the connection from system to system.
That's because the male RCA connector is easier to detach and attach from
an RCA jack (compared to plugging and unplugging a four-pin S-Video cable.)
No matching of pins is required. Plus, this configuration allows
you to expand the length of your converter/cable combination simply by
unplugging the converter and attaching it to a new, longer (or shorter)
S-Video cable. The RCA plug is quite rugged, too, and accepts strain
well. However, we stock both gender configurations, so you can choose the
one you need.
MALE S-VIDEO to FEMALE RCA S-VIDEO CONVERTER
Our best-seller is this version, which has a male S-Video plug on one end,
and a female RCA jack on the other. Because we sell so many of these
we're able to offer them for a few dollars less. The chief advantage
of this converter is that it uses an inexpensive RCA cable (which can cost
less than an S-Video cable of the same length.) It's rugged, but
you must match the pins (using the helpful arrow built onto the body of
the converter) to your component's S-Video socket. Choose the gender
configuration you prefer.
